Independent music releases.

We’re RUXDEN, an independent music project in Austin. Our digital releases pair arrangement notes with a use context and a specific sonic constraint. Explore the catalogue, or tell us where you want to use a track.

01 / Inside our catalogue

Start with Ember Room: a dry drum machine, low synth pulse, and close-room vocal texture. For slow guitar fragments, tape grain, and a restrained midnight pulse, explore Afterimage. Read our release notes to compare the sound and use context before you inquire.

Listen by use.

The digital music catalogue is arranged around what you need to do with the sound. Personal listening is one conversation. An inquiry about music for film has different questions. A new collaboration needs a brief before anyone talks about fit.

03 / Selected cuts

Four releases. No filler.

Each entry in the RUXDEN music releases catalogue carries a sonic constraint and a use context. Read the note before you write the inquiry. A name alone is not a brief.

Ember Room

A dry drum machine, low synth pulse, and close-room vocal texture. Tight enough for a scene. Human enough to leave a mark.

Cold Wire

Tight metallic hits with negative space and a short, hard ending. It does not pretend to be soft.

04 / Editorial method

The note is part of the release.

RUXDEN keeps the arrangement in the frame. A short release note says what the sound is made of, where it might work, and what has to be answered before a licensing inquiry can move. No campaign language is hiding the constraint.

05 / Fit checker

Which conversation is this?

Three plain answers are enough to point you toward the right page. The checker does not assess availability or promise a response. It simply asks the questions a useful brief needs.

Start with a release

Browse the catalogue when you already have a track in mind. If a use is involved, carry the media and deadline into the inquiry.

The result is a route, not a clearance decision. Availability and terms are answered after inquiry.
